The Skin Specialist Centre is one of the only centres in New Zealand offering our patients Scizer treatments. Engineered to reduce body fat with minimal pain, the Scizer combines HIFU technology with cooling technology to guarantee the painless reduction of stubborn fat cells.
The Scizer treatment is designed to manipulate the adipocytes in the subcutaneous fat layer utilising a non-invasive therapeutic focused ultrasound procedure. Based on the process of coagulative necrosis development, the treatment targets and reduces localised fat deposits, to ultimately and effectively improve the contours of the body.
For your convenience and comfort, there are no prior dietary or dress requirements for the Scizer treatment. The practitioner
will immediately plan the treatment route and mark the regions using a grid template. Treatment times range from as little as 15 to 20 minutes.
Because the Scizer hand-pieces function with a Contact Cooling Control that applies an anesthetic effect on the surface area being treated, you’ll feel little to no pain during the procedure. You may experience slight redness and swelling for a few hours post procedure, and any bruising and numbness on treated areas should resolve within 1-2 weeks following procedure.
